Xerox has launched two new inline finishing options for its Rialto 900 inkjet press.
These include a dynamic perforator that can be used to create horizontal, vertical or t-section tear offs – such as coupons, reply cards and payment stubs. This is particularly useful in the transactional/promotional and direct mail markets.
The other option is to add a second high capacity stacker, which essentially means that the press can be kept running continuously while unloading the other stacker.
Chris Irick, Xerox’s worldwide product marketing manager for Entry Production Inkjet, said: “The new inline finishing options maximize productivity by automating the workflow and reducing manual labour.”
Naturally, both of these features will be demonstrated at this summer’s Drupa show.
