    Last year Kronos, which makes white dispersions for use in printing inks, coatings and paints, introduced its 9900 water-based white dispersion for inkjet inks. The company described at this year’s Japan Inkjet Technology Forum how it has spent the past year improving on this.

    Fujifilm Business Innovations used this week’s Japan Inkjet Technology Forum in Tokyo to showcase a new type of ink, known as structural colour, for industrial inkjet.

  • Fujifilm adds to ink capacity

    Fujifilm has invested a further $28 million into its Fujifilm Imaging colorants, or FFIC, plant in Newcastle, Delaware, USA to double the production capacity of its RxD pigment dispersions in the US for its inkjet inks.

    Agfa has worked with the Dutch company Unilin to develop water-based inkjet solutions for manufacturing laminate flooring and furniture, which it will demonstrate at next month’s InPrint show in Munich, Germany.
