Innovia introduces Encore label film

Innovia Films has launched a new label film, Encore C45cn, the company’s first carbon neutral BOPP label film. It’s been certified by the International Sustainability and Carbon Certification (ISCC Plus) programme as carbon neutral on a mass balance and cradle to gate basis,

Innovia Films has developed this Encore range of carbon neutral pressure sensitive label films

Stephen Weber, Key Account Director, Labels at Innovia Films explains “in addition to being carbon neutral Encore C45cn is a high MD stiffness 45um BOPP bubble film for automatic label dispensing performance. This could allow the replacement of standard 50um films giving a further 10% material saving “ The idea is that using a carbon neutral film for labelling will help brand owners reduce their carbon footprints. Innovia says that it will soon add other grades to the range. You can find further details from innoviafilms.com.

You can license the articles from Printing and Manufacturing Journal to reproduce in other publications. I generally charge around £150 per article but I’m open to discussing this for each title, particularly for publishers that want to use multiple stories. I can provide high res versions of images for print publications.

I’m used to working with overseas publishers and am registered for VAT with the UK’s HMRC tax authority but obviously won’t charge VAT to companies outside the UK. You can find further details and a licensing form from this page, or just contact me directly here.
