Xeikon’s tentative steps into corrugated inkjet

Xeikon has unveiled its plans to get into the digital corrugated market, announcing a new platform based around a single pass inkjet press. Xeikon has named the platform Idera though there’s very little detail on the press itself or what else the platform might include.

Bobst unveils new vision and kit

Bobst has set out its stall for the packaging industry with a new vision based around its Bobst Connect concept, an open architecture cloud-based platform that’s meant to close the loop between digital files going into prepress and final production.

Sun Chemical acquires Sensient Imaging

5th June 2020

Sensient Technologies Corporation announced last year that it was looking to sell off its inkjet division, Sensient Imaging Technologies, and it has now signed a definitive agreement with Sun Chemical and its parent company, DIC Corporation, which will acquire 100 percent of the shares of Sensient Imaging Technologies.

DGI launches entry-level sublimation printer

2nd June 2020

DGI, which hails from South Korea, has expanded its range of sublimation printers with a new entry-level model, the Hercules, designed to print to transfer papers. It’s primarily aimed at sports and fashion apparel as well as soft signage.
