Uteco sells first Kodak UltraStream press

Earlier this year Uteco announced that it would start developing a version of its Sapphire Evo press to incorporate Kodak’s Ultrastream continuous inkjet technology, and now the company appears to have sold the first of these.

Ricoh announces PA6 3D print material

10th December 2019

Ricoh’s Additive Manufacturing division has introduced a new powder material for its selective laser sintering 3D printing process, having produced and verified its final material qualification part last month.

Bertelsmann signs up with Heidelberg

9th December 2019

Bertelsmann Printing Group (BPG), based in Gütersloh, Germany, has signed a subscription contract with Heidelberg for two of its sites, Mohn Media in Gütersloh and Vogel Druck in Höchberg near Würzburg.

GMG improves on OpenColor

GMG has released a new version of its OpenColor software, which is used for making accurate colour separations and is primarily targeted at the packaging industry. The latest v2.3 mainly seems to offer some improvements to its media library.

Pressero picks pricing from Presswise

Roland shows new industrial printers

29th November 2019

Roland demonstrated two new industrial printers at the recent InPrint show in Munich, including one for printing to objects such as toys, plus a prototype for printing to membrane switches.

Inkcups announces Revolution industrial printer

28th November 2019

Inkcups has introduced a new direct to shape printer, the Revolution, which is designed to print to cylindrical objects. It’s said to be able to print full colour graphics on up to 600 parts per hour.
