Dover takes over the JK Group

Dover Engineered Systems, which is a business segment of Dover Coporation, has acquired the JK Group, which specializes in textile printing inks. The JK Group grew out of Kiian Digital when it acquired J-Teck 3 and Sawgrass Industrial.

Alberto De Matthaeis, managing director of JK Group, said: “JK Group and Dover share a common goal to accelerate the growth in the textile digital printing market and bring world-class digital printing ink solutions to our customers.”

The company, which is headquartered in Novedrate, Italy with operations in Italy, China and the US, will operate as a stand-alone operating company within DES Printing & Identification platform.

The Dover Corporation is a large global manufacturer with annual revenues of approximately $7 billion. It’s split into four main divisions: Energy, Engineered Systems, Fluids, and Refrigeration & Food Equipment. Dover Engineered Systems already owns another textile inkjet printing company, MS Printing.

You can license the articles from Printing and Manufacturing Journal to reproduce in other publications. I generally charge around £150 per article but I’m open to discussing this for each title, particularly for publishers that want to use multiple stories. I can provide high res versions of images for print publications.

I’m used to working with overseas publishers and am registered for VAT with the UK’s HMRC tax authority but obviously won’t charge VAT to companies outside the UK. You can find further details and a licensing form from this page, or just contact me directly here.
