Roland launches wide format rental scheme

Roland DG has set up a new rental scheme specifically to help users move into wide format technology by renting a printer for a one, two or three year period, without the need for up-front investment or financing. The scheme includes the VersaCamm SP-i and new VS-i series of printer/cutters as well as the VersaArt RE-640 and the VersaUV LEF-20.
Obviously mindful of competing with its own dealer network, Roland suggests that customers should first try purchasing or leasing a printer from one of their network of Authorised Dealers. However, if a customer is struggling to secure finance or is not yet ready to commit to purchasing a device, the rental scheme provides an alternative option.
James Johnson, Business Manager, RolandCare and Roland Rentals, explains: “The Roland Rental package includes everything a company needs to get started immediately as well as support the business throughout the entire rental period, including a full set of 220ml Roland inks, delivery and installation, a RolandCare Silver warranty for the life of the rental, VersaWorks RIP software with free updates and a place on a digital print course at the Roland DG Academy. A Roland DG Authorised Dealer will be recommended for the ongoing purchase of inks and media.”
The scheme should also mean that customers can always rent the most up to date model. Further details from
