QPS launches Longier large format printers

Quality Print Services (QPS) is to sell the Chinese Longier Hunter range of LED cured UV printers in the UK.

These can produce up to 70sqm/hr and have an oversized board printing option. They come with Nazdar inks, including white as standard plus varnish and spot colours. They use the Konica Minolta 1024 printheads, and there appear to be options to upgrade the number of printheads.

There are five models in the range, including three flatbeds, ranging from the FP3750 at 2,500 x 1,450mm to the smaller FP900 at 1000 x 900mm. There are also two with roll-to-roll option, the 2,500 x 1,450mm FR 3750, and the 3,200 x 1,450mm FR 4650. The FP3750, for example, takes four to 16 printheads, and has resolution of 720×1080 dpi.

Longier also makes ceramic, textile and glass printers.

You can license the articles from Printing and Manufacturing Journal to reproduce in other publications. I generally charge around £150 per article but I’m open to discussing this for each title, particularly for publishers that want to use multiple stories. I can provide high res versions of images for print publications.

I’m used to working with overseas publishers and am registered for VAT with the UK’s HMRC tax authority but obviously won’t charge VAT to companies outside the UK. You can find further details and a licensing form from this page, or just contact me directly here.
