New Xerox printers support mobile printing

Xerox has launched four new office printers – Phaser 6020/6022 Colour Printer and WorkCentre 6025/6027 Colour MFPs. The headline feature is the ability to print to them direct from mobile devices.

They have built-in WiFi and support Wi-Fi Direct, Apple AirPrint and Google Cloud Print without users having to download and install apps or print drivers. Users can print emails, photos and office documents from the devices they use every day, like desktop and laptop computers, tablets and smartphones.

They can produce 1200 x 2400 dpi resolution. All four devices feature a paper capacity of up to 150 sheets; capable of handling 60 to 163 gsm cover media. The WorkCentre 6027 includes a 15-sheet automatic document feeder to save time when copying, faxing and scanning multiple page documents. The 6022 and 6027 can print at up to 18 pages per minute in colour and black and white.

They’re all available now.

You can license the articles from Printing and Manufacturing Journal to reproduce in other publications. I generally charge around £150 per article but I’m open to discussing this for each title, particularly for publishers that want to use multiple stories. I can provide high res versions of images for print publications.

I’m used to working with overseas publishers and am registered for VAT with the UK’s HMRC tax authority but obviously won’t charge VAT to companies outside the UK. You can find further details and a licensing form from this page, or just contact me directly here.
