  • SPG partners with Mtex NS

    Mtex NS and SPG Prints have entered into a strategic agreement, starting from earlier this year and extending into 2022, which will lead to SPG Prints selling a new updated version of the Mtex NS Dragon sublimation printer.

  • Epson announces new textile printers

    Epson has introduced two new textile printers, with a new, higher volume direct-to-garment printer, the SC-F3000 and the latest addition to its wide format series in the shape of the SC-F9400, which includes a variation that takes fluorescent inks.

  • Inktec launches SubliNova G7 ink

    Inktec has expanded its range of after market SubliNova dye sublimation inks with a new SubliNova G7 ink, which is designed to work primarily with Epson DX7 printheads, though it’s said to also work with Epson DX5 and TFP heads,

  • The writing’s on the wall

    This year’s Heimtextil marked the 50th anniversary for this tradeshow, which aims to highlight trends in the interior design market. Given that textiles is said to be one of the biggest growth areas for digital printing I thought it would be worth a visit.

  • Put a sock in it

    One of the more niche printers that I saw at this year’s Itma show was the Ginga sock printer from Ichinose, which can produce personalised socks. Ichinose is part of the Japanese Toshin Kogyo company, which mostly develops conventional textile and screen printing machines.

  • Epson releases F6300 dye sub printer

    Epson has announced a new wide format dye sublimation printer, the SureColor SC-F6300, which is a direct replacement for the existing 1.1m wide SC-F6200. 

  • Epson launches new textile printer and inks

    Epson used last month’s Itma show in Barcelona to announce new additions to its Monna Lisa range of textile printers as well as a new series of Genesta pigment inks.

  • Durst shows fifth generation Alpha

    Durst has introduced the latest version of its textile production press, the Alpha Series 5, in both the 190 and 330 versions, with the 330 version on show at the recent Itma exhibition. The new Alphas feature a number of improvements including a new advanced digital pigment ink for waterless one-step production.

  • Mimaki launches TX300 hybrid textile printer

    Mimaki claimed to have launched a brand new hybrid textile printer, the TX300P series, at last month’s Itma 2019 show, which is quite a stretch since Mimaki already has a TX300P in its line-up, introduced in 2017.

  • Technijet shows textile treatment system

    Technijet Digital, based in Lancashire in the UK, has commercially launched its Swift-Jet coating system, which offers an economical way of coating small volumes of fabrics for digital printing. 

  • MS launches Mini Lario

    MS Printing Solutions, which is part of the Dover Digital Printing portfolio, used the recent Itma show to launch its Mini Lario textile printer. MS says that the printer has been developed to fill a gap in the market between its LaRio and JPK-EVO printers in terms of speed and return on investment. 

  • Mouvent launches TX802 textile printer

    Regular readers will know the Bobst subsidiary Mouvent for the series of inkjet label presses that the company launched in 2017 at the last European LabelExpo. But Mouvent’s first printer was the TX801 textile machine and at Itma Mouvent launched a faster version, the TX802.
