Manroland Web establishes French base

Manroland web systems, which took over the web offset part of the former Manroland company, has now set up a subsidiary operation in France, to be based in Noisy le Sec. This will provide newspaper presses and solutions for commercial and digital printing, along with spare parts, technical service and equipment upgrades for existing customers.

The French operation will be run by Antoine Chevalier (48), who studied industrial engineering and began his career in the world of print with Heidelberg in 1989, where he held a variety of positions at the Sales and Product Management Department. He has also been responsible for customer service for the EMEA region at Goss International. He will be assisted by sales manager Franck Tavernier.

This is an important milestone given that Manroland’s collapse also prompted the demise of many of the national subsidiaries around the world, so this should help demonstrate the long term viability of Manroland web systems.

You can license the articles from Printing and Manufacturing Journal to reproduce in other publications. I generally charge around £150 per article but I’m open to discussing this for each title, particularly for publishers that want to use multiple stories. I can provide high res versions of images for print publications.

I’m used to working with overseas publishers and am registered for VAT with the UK’s HMRC tax authority but obviously won’t charge VAT to companies outside the UK. You can find further details and a licensing form from this page, or just contact me directly here.
