Pulse Roll Label improves metallic inks

Label ink manufacturer Pulse Roll Label Products is to show the latest version of its PureBright UV flexo metallic inks at next month’s Label Expo.

Pulse Roll Label has improved its PureBright metallic inks.

These inks, both gold and silver, have been reformulated to comply with the latest reclassification of raw materials, adhering to EuPIA’s Exclusion Policy. The inks are manufactured at Pulse Roll Label’s factory in Bristol, UK using state of the art equipment to minimise aeration, resulting in optimal brightness and superior lustre.

They’re available in two versions, as a standard ink for general label printing, and a version for food packaging that’s suitable for non-direct food contact packaging applications. They’re said to offer improved flow and transfer with good opacity and coverage.

Mikaela Harding, product manager at Pulse Roll Label, said, “We have seen a surge in demand for high quality metallic inks over the past few years as brand owners seek to make their labels stand out on the shelf by adding enhancements that provide a premium finish. We’re excited to officially introduce our new PureBright range at Labelexpo. Not only do our new PureBright inks comply with the very latest EuPIA guidelines, we are also confident that our new metallic inks offer superior lustre compared to current industry standards, as well as improved overprintability.”
