  • DGI launches entry-level sublimation printer

    DGI, which hails from South Korea, has expanded its range of sublimation printers with a new entry-level model, the Hercules, designed to print to transfer papers. It’s primarily aimed at sports and fashion apparel as well as soft signage.

  • Epson announces new textile printers

    Epson has introduced two new textile printers, with a new, higher volume direct-to-garment printer, the SC-F3000 and the latest addition to its wide format series in the shape of the SC-F9400, which includes a variation that takes fluorescent inks.

  • Roland launches t-shirt printer

    Roland has officially launched its Texart XT-640S-DTG t-shirt printer, which it has already shown off as a prototype at several shows over the last year or so, and which I’ve written about here after last year’s Fespa show.

  • Inktec launches SubliNova G7 ink

    Inktec has expanded its range of after market SubliNova dye sublimation inks with a new SubliNova G7 ink, which is designed to work primarily with Epson DX7 printheads, though it’s said to also work with Epson DX5 and TFP heads,

  • Epson to launch F500 desktop dye sub

    Epson has announced a new 24ins dye sublimation printer, the SureColor SC-F500, which is essentially a smaller version of the 44ins wide F6300 announced at the beginning of this month.

  • Epson releases F6300 dye sub printer

    Epson has announced a new wide format dye sublimation printer, the SureColor SC-F6300, which is a direct replacement for the existing 1.1m wide SC-F6200. 

  • Mimaki launches TX300 hybrid textile printer

    Mimaki claimed to have launched a brand new hybrid textile printer, the TX300P series, at last month’s Itma 2019 show, which is quite a stretch since Mimaki already has a TX300P in its line-up, introduced in 2017.

  • From A to B and back again

    The very last thing that I did at last week’s Fespa Munich show was to go to the organiser’s press conference, where Michael Ryan, group exhibition manager for Fespa, announced a brand new event, Sportswear Pro, for next year’s Fespa show in Madrid, Spain.

  • Roland shows off textile and decor prototypes

    Roland DG used last week’s Fespa show to demonstrate a number of new concept machines that have been developed by Roland’s European operation, based on existing printers that have been built by Roland Japan, but targeted at specific applications, including textile printing and wall coverings.

  • EFI acquires BDR ink manufacturer

    EFI has acquired BDR Boya Kimya San. Tic. A.S, based in Bursa, Turkey, which manufactures reactive inkjet inks for industrial digital textile printing.

  • Barbieri develops textile Spectrophotometer

    Barbieri has released a textile edition of its Spectro LFP qb Spectrophotometer, said to be suitable for working with any type of textile. 

  • Bliss Impex buys four Durst Alpha textile printers

    The Indian textile producer Bliss Impex has installed four of Durst’s Alpha inkjet printers, which are designed for heavy duty textile production, in an effort to double business volumes and turnover within five years.
