  • Fujifilm acquires Unigraphica

    Fujifilm has acquired a European system integrator, Unigraphica, which is based in Liechtenstein and develops customised inkjet systems.

  • Solucan invests in second Cyclone

  • EFI sells off MIS

    EFI has sold off its MIS and related print productivity software to the venture capital Symphony Technology Group in order to concentrate on the inkjet side of its business alongside the Fiery RIPs. Naturally, none of the parties involved will comment on the price or terms of the deal, which concluded on 30 December 2021.

  • Nano Dimension acquires GIS

    Global Inkjet Systems, which specialises in developing inkjet printhead drive electronics, ink systems and related software, has been acquired by Nano Dimension, an Israeli company that develops 3D-printed, or additively manufactured, electronics.

  • Koenig and Bauer announces MetalStar 4

    Koenig and Bauer has updated its MetalStar metal decorating press with the release of the latest version 4 model, which promises shorter make-readies and is said to be faster and more efficient than the MetalStar 3 that it replaces. It’s suitable food and chemical packaging as well as general commercial and closure applications.
