Mimaki is planning to introduce a new addition to its UJF range of industrial flatbed printers at next month’s Fespa Hamburg show. Fujifilm has announced a new series of UV flatbeds, the Acuity Select 20 series, which will replace the existing Acuity Advance Select series. This is, of course, Fujifilm’s rebadging of the latest Arizona’s as announced by Canon so the specifications are the same.
Xaar has adapted its 1002 GS40 printhead to better handle some UV applications by adding its Through Flow TF technology that recirculates ink at a very high rate directly past the back of the nozzle during drop ejection.
