New management takes over at Flexotecnica

Koenig and Bauer Flexotecnica has a new CEO, Dr Peter Lechner, who is charged with expanding the company’s flexible packaging activities and improving the synergies with Koenig and Bauer’s service and sales network.

According to Koenig and Bauer, flexo printing is growing at an average rate of four to five percent worldwide, and in some regions even faster. Flexotecnica is planning to introduce a new new press by the end of this year, having improved the technological level of its presses over the past 18 months.

Lechner replaces Christoph Müller, who movesto the company’s supervisory board as chairman.Müller commented: “Peter Lechner has many years of experience in the field of flexible packaging. He will continue on the positive path of Flexotecnica and achieve our ambitious goals.”

Lechner previously held leading positions at companies in Germany, the USA and the Czech Republic.
