Industrial inkjet announces new print engine

Industrial Inkjet has launched a range of iS printheads for both mono and colour printing aimed at the label printing sector. Each is fitted with Konica Minolta printheads, including the latest KM1024iM version, providing three times the speed of the popular KM1024 head with the same footprint.

They are designed to be easily integrated into existing production lines. In addition, they include a custom-build service option for all the models – the MonoPrint 72, 142, 282 Slim and 352 Slim and Colour Print 72, 142, 282 and 352.

They run at speeds of up to 50 metres per minute in full colour printing or mono using 6 picolitre drop sizes, is less than half the previous 14pl size.

Industrial Inkjet is an independent company that also acts as the official sales and technical support centre for Konica Minolta products outside of Asia, offering advice on any aspect of the use of inkjet technology in industrial applications. The new iS engines are due to be demonstrated at the Label Expo show in Chicago, which takes place from 9-11 September this year.

You can license the articles from Printing and Manufacturing Journal to reproduce in other publications. I generally charge around £150 per article but I’m open to discussing this for each title, particularly for publishers that want to use multiple stories. I can provide high res versions of images for print publications.

I’m used to working with overseas publishers and am registered for VAT with the UK’s HMRC tax authority but obviously won’t charge VAT to companies outside the UK. You can find further details and a licensing form from this page, or just contact me directly here.

However, there are costs involved in travelling to cover events, as well as maintaining this site, not to mention the time that it takes to carry out research, check facts and interview people. So if you value this work, then please help to maintain it and keep it free to read.
