Fujifilm has extended its partnership with Aleyant to sell its Pressero web-to-print solution. Fujifilm has had some success with this in North America and is now to offer it to its European customers.
Pressero is a cloud-based B2B or B2C online storefront that can be customised to individual client needs. This includes a ‘mobile-first’ design for branded sites for use on any viewing device. Core components include eDocBuilder, a web-based and online design and variable data publishing system built specifically to integrate into Aleyant or third-party web-to-print or MIS solutions. It includes typography control, imposition, scripting support, PDF workflows, rapid template creation and Excel merge capabilities.
There’s also an Automated Workflow Integrator that automates processes such as sending or renaming files, and a PrintJobManager that has a mobile, cloud-based approach to MIS for planning, estimating and job management.
Aleyant has created a special web-to-print integration for Fujifilm’s XMF Workflow. This enables automated transmission of job data from a web storefront directly into the XMF Workflow, enabling automated production and job submission, including the selection of an appropriate imposition template, for improved operational efficiency, reduced errors and faster time to market.
John Davies, Business Strategy and Marketing Manager, for Fujifilm Europe, explained: “We have been impressed with the quality of the Pressero solution, Aleyant’s team and vision, and how easy it has been to work with them in getting this integration completed.”
