Frimpeks increases UK investment

Frimpeks is to extend its label stocks plant in Saxmundham, Sussex, adding a further 25,000 sq.ft. The factory produces a broad range of adhesives from standard permanents through to deep freeze, removables and super peel.

The Saxmundham facility manufactures or distributes self-adhesive laminates, inks and digital media. The new investment includes the expansion of the existing coating line to incorporate greater automation and flexibility. In addition a new slitter incorporating fully automated packing lines is being installed in Q2 2016.

Dave Casey, UK managing director, commented: “The site expansion and new plant will increase capacity and follows a similar investment at our sister plant in Remscheid Germany. The Hot Melt coating capability will provide the flexibility and capacity our growing customer base demand and will give us a basis to continue our growth plans and serve the European market.”

You can license the articles from Printing and Manufacturing Journal to reproduce in other publications. I generally charge around £150 per article but I’m open to discussing this for each title, particularly for publishers that want to use multiple stories. I can provide high res versions of images for print publications.

I’m used to working with overseas publishers and am registered for VAT with the UK’s HMRC tax authority but obviously won’t charge VAT to companies outside the UK. You can find further details and a licensing form from this page, or just contact me directly here.

However, there are costs involved in travelling to cover events, as well as maintaining this site, not to mention the time that it takes to carry out research, check facts and interview people. So if you value this work, then please help to maintain it and keep it free to read.
