EFI has reported its figures for the first quarter of this year, with revenues of $194.6 million or £128.6m, up 3% compared to first quarter 2014 revenue of $188.7 million. Operating income, according to generally agreed accounting principles or GAAP, was $11.1 million compared to $10.8 million for the same period in 2014. GAAP net income was $5.2 million or $0.11 per diluted share, compared to $10.1 million or $0.21 per diluted share for the same period in 2014.
Meanwhile, EFI has named Marc Olin Chief Financial Officer, a role he has held twice on an interim basis in recent years. He has also been General Manager of the Productivity Software business, and most recently as COO.
