Delphax is to use Global Graphics’ Harlequin technology as the front end of its Elan 500 cut-sheet inkjet press. This press uses a Memjet print engine and can produce up to 500 A4 pages per minute.
It’s hardly surprising given that Delphax has previously used Global Graphics RIP technology for its Imaggia and CR systems.
Steve Hubbard, vice president sales and marketing at Delphax, commented: “Our internally developed distributed PDF RIP farm solution, which is built around Harlequin, perfectly complements Elan’s unparalleled productivity, print quality and flexible media options at a highly competitive cost point.”
